Westerndigital.com has their 18tb red pro’s at 2/$580 today. Main page, “today only deals - shop now”.

If you try to go any other route, the price doesn’t come up the same, or they say sold out.

If you sign up for Rakuten, you also get a 15% WD cash back promo - again, today only.

If you use a referral code, you get a $40 bonus, AND the 15% off.

So: $580 * .15 = $87 off

New total: $493.

$493 - $40 = $453

$453 / 36tb = $12.58/tb

Westerndigital.com also says they’ll give you 10% off if you register with the site and it’s your first purchase, but I didn’t go that route.

Everybody wanted black Friday/cyber Monday deals - this might be as good as it gets for large capacity, quality drives.

Serverpartadeals.com is great, don’t get me wrong, but if you want new warrantied drives direct, this isn’t a bad option.

Rakuten makes money on selling your shopping information. But if you get paid for it too, it’s not so bad, right? They also take a while to pay you back. It’s quarterly, so it could be as far as 3 months out. But again, it’s a better deal than anywhere else.

Don’t have a referral code? Nbd, you’ll still get a sign up bonus with Rakuten. It’s less, but it’s something. Or you can message me, since I can’t post mine. But any way you cut it, it’s a pretty good deal.

…for the remaining 3 hrs and 4 min of cyber Monday , lol
