Hi guys, I have a Lenovo LOQ with Intel CPU but it has only 1 ram slot which I will install 16gb DDR5. On the other hand there is a good offer with the same features except the AMD Ryzen 5 7235HS and 2 ram slots. We can think of the use case as gaming as it is the heaviest job that will be performed on this device.

I wonder if dual-channel makes a difference and if I should return the one with Intel and buy the other one. What do you think? Would single channel memory reduce the performance of the i5-12450hz so that it doesn’t matter that it is superior to the AMD?
