Hi guys, I finished my first ever custom loop about 8 months ago using a Corsair XD7 pump/reservoir distro plate going into a 420mm rad, and though I could have done a better job with the hardline tubing for the most part I was pretty happy with it. Fast forward to now and I’ve noticed that the CPU temps are much higher than the GPU (around 40C on the 4080 super GPU and 80-90C on the 7800x3d CPU) so I’ve been getting the itch to start redoing the loop.

Would it be better to simply add another rad to the existing loop so that it goes between the GPU to CPU, or would it be worth it to have 2 separate loops for the CPU and GPU going. I understand that I’d have to swap the pump reservior out for 2 that are smaller but I don’t mind doing that.

I understand about deminishing returns as well, but I’d quite like to hear from you guys as to what your opinions are.

Thanks in advance for the help.
