I need a mobile WiFi hotspot that can stay on 24/7. The hotspot will be used to run a low-bandwidth device that needs to be on virtually all the time. I currently use the FranklinT10, the cheapest hotspot available at T-Mobile when I went. However, it turns off after about 5-7 days of being continuously connected to power and needs to be manually restarted. I would like to have something that works like my current setup without needing anyone to physically stop by and restart the hotspot.
One failed solution was using an outlet timer set to turn off for one minute every few days to reset the hotspot. It didn’t work because to restart the T10, you have to press a button on the device. Battery is removed as I was prompted to, not that it’s made a difference.
