I am having a problem installing a 90w poe++ injector made by bv-tech.
Currently my tp-link router is in the house, I have an underground cat6 to the shop about 100 ft away. In the shop I have a regular poe+ switch that can do up to 30w per port running 3 cameras, all work fine.
I want to add another camera at a distance, so want to bypass the current poe switch and just use the 90w injector.
here is the issue… I took the new injector in the house and connected to the router with a 1 ft cable and plugged in a camera with maybe a 75 ft distance, all worked fine
when I plug the new poe injector directly into the same router from the shop, now using the 100 ft underground cable the poe light will not come on and it will not power the camera
This is my first use of an injector, but I just dont see what the problem is, there is no problem with the underground cable, everything connected to it works fine, except this new injector
