Today I was on a bus, in a very safe suburb in a nice city at 4pm. People came on board to check our public transport cards, and they stopped next to this guy that looked pretty haggard, and wrote him a ticket. Whole time, this guy behind him had his phone in the officer’s face recording him, and his partner turned around. The officer spoke nothing but respectfully and yeah sure it sucks that you’re getting a ticket but they’re doing their jobs and being nothing less than polite.

I get that people record stuff to prove injustice of whatnot actually happened - but jeez maybe wait until anything problematic at all actually happens before whipping it out in people’s faces that are doing nothing wrong, thinking you’re doing something heroic??
