Hi, I have been using ThrottleStop for a long time and everything works stable. I would like to move these settings to the bios, but there are so many options there that it is difficult to find them. My CPU is 14650HX.
I want to neuter this processor a bit. Previously I had a 13620H with 10 cores and I don’t see any difference in the tasks I perform. However, it is louder and consumes much more power in idle mode.
- I wanted to change the maximum values of power plans (PL1 and PL2). The problem is that there are different settings for these plans in the BIOS. I guess it depends on the GCC power plan?
- I also tried UV P-cores with smaller values than in TS, but the laptop did not get up, I had to reset the bios. Maybe there are other options related to this? I know you can change the UV adaptive or overdrive mode. I think it’s the fault of the overdrive option, but adaptive says that it only works with the turbo option, does that mean? I don’t use the turbo option in gcc, I would also prefer UV to work without the cpu in the turbo state if that’s the case.
- I also miss the UV cache and IPGU options.
Does anyone have experience with this and can help me? Aorus 16X ASG
