Hello, just wondering about a few things. I have a LOQ 15ARP9 laptop with a 4070 since september and I am now considering overclocking to squeeze out a bit more performance. I have never done it before so I am somewhat reluctant to push the laptop.
I have done a few benchmarks so far: 3DMark Steel Nomad went from 2707 without OC (performance mode on) to 2878 with +250 core and +300 memory in MSI Afterburner. The benchmark simply crashes if I attempt it with more than +250 core (while remaining at the same memory). Timespy crashes a bit earlier at 200 core, with 300 memory still.
A friend recommended I do not push memory over +300 as I have Hynix GDDR6 and apparently those have had VRAM failures or something?
Would you say that this is good or is there a way I could push the OC even more while remaining safe?
