I bought an Nvidia RTX 4070 TI Super OC, 16GB VRAM GPU about 3-4 months ago. My CPU is an Intel i7, and I need to upgrade it. I am pretty dissatisfied with Intel CPUs (I feel they are inferior to AMD at this point in time) and am looking to swap my Motherboard and processor to AMD.

Are there any cons to pairing my GPU with a 7800X3D or a 7950X3D. I know the 7800X3D is best in class for gaming (outside of the 9800X3D that is sold out everywhere). My main task is gaming in at least 1440p, so not sure which way to go. Looking to upgrade the MB to ASUS ROG STRIX X670E-A.
