Sup yall, i will be getting rid of my arc a750 next week and i’m looking for a quick upgrade. Used 3070ti’s and 3080’s are looking quite nice, 3080 at 380$ and 3070 ti for less than 350$.

Now, here is the catch, i have a 1080p monitor and i don’t plan on upgrading that anytime soon. More than that, the said 3070 ti is white, and it would suit the aesthetic i’m going for much better, cause white 3080’s are overpriced as hell.

So, would going for the 3080 be worth forgoing the aesthetic for 2gb vram more in my case? Also, 3070ti speaks to me more with lower power consumption. It’s not really important, but a nice bonus.

40 series cards are a no go, cause even 4060 ti is the price of a 3080 ti in my case.

No AMD cause i had bad expiriences with them in the past.

And on the side note, should i upgrade my cpu? It’s 12400f, and nothing is really stopping me from going to 12700kf or something like that. Will the diffrence be worth it?
