Current PC is attached here. I’ve hit a few games that my old 6600K is now not playing and so its time to move to something new. Thinking to spend around £500 but more focused around price efficiency/future comparability than a hard number. I’ve got 6 sata drives that I want to keep using limiting motherboard options a bit. Happy to get a used CPU if there are some good options there or go for a cheap one for now with everything else solid and swap it in two/3 years.

Currently leaning towards an AM5 based options as the socket should be good till 2027; and same with future graphics cards if I get one with PCI 5. Bit out of the loop so happy to be told there are better options.
