Weird question, I know. I also know its pretty much consensus that 6000MHz / CL30 is the sweet spot.
Why Im asking then? Because I plan to make this build last me for at least 5+ years and I do not play super graphical intense games (MH Wilds will probably be one of the few more demanding games). I mostly want a PC that runs not only efficient (thats also why I will go for 7800x3d instead of 9800x3d) but also STABLE. Using anything thats higher than 5200MHz would mean I will have to use EXPO which I would rather not enable for the reasons mentioned earlier. Judging by benchmarks the gain in FPS varies heavily but usually is at single digits, which doesnt exactly sounds worth it to me. At first I was thinking about simply going for a Ryzen 7 9700x, but ironically enough thanks to its powerlimit 7800x3d still tops most efficiency charts despite being a dedicated gaming CPU, so yeah.
Anyway, what I would like to know is: Am I making too big of a deal of Expo or would running AM5 without Expo indeed make a difference in overall system stability as well as power draw (because apparently enabling Expo also means higher power draw).
