Hello all,
I currently have a 5G router (I also have a 5G phone that I’ve tried tethering with) and I’m wondering if it’s possible to bypass the strict (type D) NAT?
My provider doesn’t allow the purchase of static IPs either so sadly that’s also out of the question.
I’d like to be able to play multiplayer games on my Nintendo Switch but unfortunately because of the NAT I’m not able to play the games that I’d like.
So tl;dr is it possible to change the NAT type of my 5G router at all using a VPN or other means? (I’m not very experienced so you may need to ELI5)
Any help is appreciated, thank you!
