Every thread I see in favor of the 4070 Super over the 7900 GRE includes the phrase “For just $50 more you get better efficiency, better Ray Tracing” etc etc etc but then for just $20 more than the 4070 Super is the 7900 XT which is significantly more powerful than the super and is about 15% faster, getting better results across the board on games that aren’t Alan Wake or Cyberpunk

Guess I’m probably asking for an AMD vs Nvidia fan boy war but how important do y’all think the difference in VRAM is vs how much further ahead Nvidia is in latency, frame gen, lighting and Ray Tracing tech? Surely the 12 GB of VRAM will make the 4070 Super obsolete much sooner than the 7900 GRE or XT… I’m not really trying to replace my GPU in 3 years
