Hi! Me and our group of 6 friends were wanting to spend the week of thanksgiving in a small town in the Appalachians. We were looking to hike, walk around a Main Street or two, and engage in water activities (lake or river). Walkability is definitely something we’d like for our staying in the town. The only restriction we have is a friend who does not want to drive more than roughly 5 hours from Northern Virginia. The cheaper the better but we are going to split no matter what which should help reduce costs.
