For my next upgrade, I am looking at which z790 motherboards have accurate voltage monitoring, and being an Asus user I’ve only experienced “tiered” accuracy – but their higher end boards for die-sense monitoring or suffer the less accurate socket-sense monitoring with anything Strix or below…

I have a z590 Asus Maximus Apex and part of why I got this was for the better voltage monitoring. I would have rather used a lower tiered ROG Strix Gaming–E board but the voltage only reads in socket sense.

For the z790 boards out there, are there mid-tiered boards from other manufacturers that give you an accurate die-sense type of reading? Is ASUS still making people spends hundreds more on their motherboards in order for them to get accurate voltage monitoring for overclocking?

I’d rather move away from ASUS than find myself spending 600-1000 bucks on their high tiered boards just to get access to the die-sense voltage monitor.

Thanks for any help, recommendations.
