AND IT WAS SO AWESOME??? I mean I have friends who have told me, “Went to a concert…I liked it :D” and things like that. But, like, hello? No one told me it was this fun???

(For context, I went to see Pitbull. Which included T-Pain and Lil Jon). The vibes? Immaculate. My voice? Gone. My ears? Dead. (Yes, I will now be investing in ear protection and some sun glasses.) Ugh. So good. I think for a moment there I realized why people like going clubbing (the more glamorous part of it at least). It was such an exhilarating experience, I’m now itching to go to another concert.

Two questions for anyone to answer (both, one, neither; feels like I’m ranting otherwise lol):

1 - Did your first concert feel like this? / How did your first concert feel?

2 - (For context: I change the genre of music I listen to constantly.) Should I go to a concert of an artist that doesn’t make…uh, danceable music (anything even mildly slow-paced, doesn’t matter the lyrics)? Rationality and a need for exposure says yes because, “Try everything once.” However, for the next few years, I’m not exactly going to be in an uber comfy financial spot to simply splurge, and I feel like concerts (for me! for me) are more of a “scream your stress out, dance your anxiety out” type of events–for now(?). Should I just wait a while?
