As title says, I’ve a 4tb usb drive mounted on Ubuntu Server.
Typing df -h I have the following result:
/dev/sdd1 3.6T 20K 3.4T 1% /mypassport
So, it tells me that 1% is already occupied, but I have no files in there, it seems 200gb less. I also have deleted all partitions with fdisk and created it with the same utility. How can I solve it? Thanks.
UPDATING: I’ve formatted the hard drive through my Synology nas with the same ext4 fs and then replugged in my ubuntu server, now everything is ok, 3.6T of 3.6T available space is showing with the df -h command. I don’t know why now is ok but I resolved the issue myself.
