I liked BoB a bit more because of the tighter storytelling approach - taking the watcher through the war, all the way from training to the fall of Nazis through the eyes of Easy Company and specifically certain characters from it. I also liked how we heard from the men themselves.

The Pacific, held no punches! They depiction of the brutality of the war, the impact on mental health, and personal life is some of the best on screen.

A big difference between the two was the portrayal of the enemy. Germans were shown to be professional and feared while the Japanese felt a little clownish yelling and jumping into the firing line.
