Recently I was a victim of Ubuntu 22.04 to 24.04 migration mess. I lost literally all my configs in 22.04.
I would like to know a better way to backup Ubuntu config files.
* Make a private git repo and push periodically.
* Cloud backup storage and use something like rsync
to periodically push configs to it.
What is the best solution and feel free to suggest the methods used by other Ubuntu users? If its a cloud service, which has the best backup service for personal usage (like 50GB storage).
