I followed this post but the connection is grey’ed out on the Chromebook I am using.

Any reason for this? This Chromebook belongs to Los Angeles Public Library and is managed by them. I need to access sites that Chrome Guard that is installed on here blocks.

I have the Chromebook until the end of the year (2024) so I could save the money to get another one for myself.

The alternative of course is to connect via my phone. The problem there is that it’s a Lifeline phone and data is limited (6 GB) and expensive ($30 to add 8 GB).

I mainly use the Wifi at the library as my main high speed connection.

PS - I could if I find a good deal get my own Chromebook however making that money back is a challenge.
