This has been something I’ve been dealing with forever but today it truly has pissed me off, have had this SSD for around a year now and since forever it always goes to 100%, slows my PC down horribly but eventually “fixes” itself even though whenever I try to do anything else again like open firefox or just file explorer it instantly starts doing it again. I couldve ignored it even more but it has come to the point where I could literally be fully idle, launch a game and the game will genuinely take minutes to start up because of how slow everything becomes. I have already resolved myself to just take this SSD out back and fuck it up with a brick and buy a new one (any recommendations for good 1tb-2tb SSDs are welcome) but before I do I just wanted to ask to see if there’s anything I can do to maybe salvage this one if the issue is one that can be fixed. For context, I have a Ryzen 5 5600x CPU, AMD Radeon RX6750XT GPU, 32GB RAM, a 2tb HDD I use for college work and older games like Fable, Halos, Emulators, etc. There’s no genuine reason why a setup like this can barely run COD at the lowest of the lowest of settings but I have reached my tipping point and I need some help please
