Hi,

i come frome a time, where buying the best graphic cards in the market resulted to being able to play EVERYTHING in maxed out. I do know that DLSS and Framegen changed a lot and that there are games that arent playable with 4k native, even for a 4090.

Currently I am on a 4080 super and I grinded a lot of horizon forbidden west lately. 4k native without framegen went pretty well - till i got to the underwater quests. I dipped into 40fps - which is really insane.

Is this the new era? Is something wrong with my card? Or do i need to arrange with myself that playing 4k native isnt the thing anymore?

Gigabyte 4080 Super Aero

Intel Core i5-13600KF

Patriot Viper VENOM 32GB, DDR5-6200, CL40-40-40-76
