I am almost out of filament and I need to buy new one. I print only PLA. While I know that many friends here have different preferences, I’d like to know if there any specific technical details I can check to see which filament to buy.

For example, I am aware that Prusa says their filament is the best because of consistency on its size. Great! Is this the only tech criteria that matters? Are ingredients of the filament important? Is there anything else that truly makes one filament better than the others?
