I used to just have it all in folders separated by type. Audiobook, Ebook, TV, Movie, Music etc. It worked for me and that was that. Now I’m trying to share my media with my wife, and I’m trying to actually have it organized instead of a big ball of mess.

Like for the ebooks? Do you prefer to have a folder for each book, or lump them in a folder, with the entire series in it?

Do you put an authors entire bibliography into one folder, or by that particular series they did? Or maybe a subfolder with the series, inside that folder?

How do you label the folder? Author - series, series - author, title - author etc?
