I am installing some security cameras and have run the raw CAT6. I’m doing my terminations soon and was hoping for some Reddit expertise. The cameras have a Keystone on them so it would make sense to terminate in RJ45 and just plug it right in. That said, it’s way easier for me to install keystones and then just run a small patch cable from there into the camera. Going to be high up on a ladder so trying to make quick work of it. Anybody know if you lose quality or speed by terminating in keystones and then a patch cable vs. just a right run into the camera? TYIA!!
