TLDR: re-paste 13 Year old 2600k thermal paste?

Under normal circumstances I wouldn’t ask this (ofc I should re-paste), but after a quick search, I’v read that some 2600k’s are running 1.4 v @ 4.7 GHz while hitting 90+°C

I had mine running @ 1.45 @ 4.8 GHz (something like that, need to check again just to make sure), and was never going over 85°C with around 120-130w power consumption. (“normal” small tower cooler from 2011)

I don’t want to rip it apart with the risk of damaging something, considering how dried up and stuck together this must be, without a second opinion that this will improve anything.
