Hi,

I want to make my internet connection as free from any restrictions as possible. I live in a country wher most of my connection is restricted. Most of them NSFW content and some are political. I recently crossed path with pihole and it blew my mind. It has most of the thing I wanted but not quite. So, I am in a journey to make it as *liberal* as possible.

What are my options? I am willing to spend some money on it. I bought rpi5 for sole purpose of local server.

Also along the way if my internet becomes more responsive that would be nice but not a requirement. (caching probably won’t benefit me. I have 1Gbps connection and there are only 2 living in the house.)

Note: It seems dns change is not enough due tro DPI on my ISP. Is there way to by pass it ? I saw something like https://github.com/ValdikSS/GoodbyeDPI but not sure its effectiveness. I will maybe buy and openwrt router.
