Pirating digital media is not taking anything from anyone
Ya see, this is the fallacy. You are confusing ideas. No one is claiming that piracy of digital goods is theft of said goods. When someone makes something that is digital and they sell it, they are saying, “I made this, and if you would like to partake in it, I am asking for X.”
You aren’t stealing goods, you are not paying for the goods you use. The creator has asked for payment, and you refused, but still used their product. You have withheld payment for services rendered.
