Chromebook: Lenovo 100e Gen2 AMD A4. TREEYA

okay so basically I’m trying to put Ubuntu on my old chromebook. I’ve done my own research online to do it and none of it really makes sense to me because I’m still relatively new to switching OSs and what not. When I go to the terminal and type shell it tells me to go to the VT-2 shell. When I do and I try to use sudo commands it says “ Sudo: “no new privileges” Flag is set, which prevents Sudo from running his root.” And it also says “sudo: If sudo is running in a container, you may need to adjust a container configuration to disable to flag.” What do I have to do to fix/change it to where it allows root commands and to where I can finish this Ubuntu Chromebook project. I have a flash drive with the ISO ready to go but I can’t get to the bios menu on the chromebook either.
