We have been empty nesters for over a decade. Our basement is one big junk room and my older son’s room is now filled with stuff she buys whether clothing which will take decades for her to use, perfume which will last for decades and other assorted stuff. She has over 200 rolls of paper towels, the same for toilet paper. She never throws out bags and at this point I am gong nuts. There is probably $10-$15,000 of stuff which at this point cannot be returned. Every time I tell her we should toss she tells me no.

I am at a loss of what to do. She will not go for counseling or at this point perhaps there is nothing I can do. What do you think I should try to do?
