Hey there everyone.
I’m currently in market to purchase my first 3D printer. My goal going into it is to print bust and taller objects.
Right Now Bambu has a great deal on their A1 printer. It’s a full size plate with a 256x256x256 print volume. On paper it’s the best printer for me.
But just thinking about the physics of how it prints. It’s giving me a few things that I have questions on.
Do bed slinger 3D printers have issues with tall prints?
Since the plate is moving back and forth rapidly. Does that cause quality or stability issues when maximizing the height of the printable volume area?
I know the core XY printers on what I read is a lot more stable based on how it prints. So that you can do larger prints with no problems.
But how do bed slingers handle tall prints? What’s everyone’s experience when it comes to printing taller or larger printers that are maximizing the print volume on a bedslinger printer.
Any feedback would be great. Thank you
