I have a DS220+ and use Synology Photos with our iPhones to store photos and videos, which has worked well for my family and me. We also use Amazon and Apple Photos for photo storage. My issue is that I have used most of the Family shared 200GB iCloud, and most of this is photos. Because we have Prime, we get free photo storage. Using the DS220+, I have used over 900GB, but I am unsure how much of this is photos and video. So I have a few questions.

  1. Should I upgrade to a 4-bay NAS
  2. Should I stick with my 2-bay NAS but get bigger HDDs or SSDs
  3. Should I stay with Sonology
  4. Can I sync my NAS and cloud services using Multicloud?
  5. The drives are both HDDs and are 3TB each, and I am using SHR as the file system
